Wetherly Barker Hemeon joined TTR Sotheby’s International Realty in 2012 when she joined her mother, Karen Barker and together, they formed The Barker Team. Consistently named one of Washington’s Top Producing Real Estate Teams and Individuals, Wetherly provides her clients with exceptional service and market knowledge with a personal touch. In 2018, TTR Sotheby’s named Wetherly Vice President due to her success and expertise in the real estate industry. She is passionate, professional, and knowledgeable, and believes that building a foundation of trust with her clients is a keystone of a successful real estate transaction.


As a long-time Northern Virginia resident, Wetherly is not only well-acquainted with the real estate market throughout the D.C. metropolitan area, but also with specific neighborhoods and upcoming developments in areas such as Arlington, Great Falls, McLean, Old Town, Alexandria, and Vienna. Her wealth of knowledge makes it possible for her to provide her clients with expertise on property valuation, marketing, and contract negotiation.


Over the past 10 years, Wetherly has represented a great number of professional athletes, whether they are looking for housing for the season, making a more permanent move to Washington D.C. or moving out of the area. Wetherly has extensive experience not only working closely with the professional athletes themselves but their financial advisors, agents and assistants as well.
