Aladdin Barkawi

Mr. Barkawi brings decades of experience in both the private sector and the Federal government to his current position as a licensed real estate professional at TTR Sotheby's International Realty. With a Masters degree and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, he held leadership positions at several US embassies as well as with the United Nations Development Programs (UNDP) assisting those in developing countries. In addition, he has used his industry knowledge and negotiation skills over the years to buy and sell various successful investment properties in both the residential and commercial sector, and he delivers this successful track record and experience to assist his clients achieve their real estate goals.
Mr. Barkawi joined TTR Sotheby’s International Realty in 2019 and quickly earned the 2020 Outstanding Sales Award for producing over $15 million in sales. A resident of Virginia for almost four decades, he is fluent in both English and Arabic, and he able to communicate in Spanish. Aladdin and his wife reside in Tysons Corner, Virginia and have two grown children.
With decades of professional experience and a deep understanding of the regional real estate market, Aladdin is well prepared to advise his clients in virtually any residential, commercial or investment opportunity. He is licensed in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.
