Steamboat Sothebys Fall 2025 Community Fund makes an Impact.
The Steamboat Sotheby’s International Realty Community Fund recently completed its Fall 2025 grant cycle, awarding $6,500 to Routt County nonprofit organizations.
Since its inception in 2017, the SSIR Community Fund has contributed over $135,000 to 59 different programs and organizations. Established in collaboration with the Yampa Valley Community Foundation, the fund was created as a way for Steamboat Sotheby’s Realty brokers and staff to collectively contribute and make a meaningful impact in Steamboat Springs and Routt County. The programs funded include health & human services, senior services, youth programs, arts and the environment.
The Fall 2025 grant funding was awarded to:
- Northwest Colorado Health: Funding for portable airway clearance device
- Northwest Rocky Mountain Casa: Child advocacy program serving abused and neglected children
- Nordic Combined USA: Furthering the mission of preserving and advancing the sport of Nordic Combined in the US.
- The Cycle Effect: Dedicated to empowering young women in Routt County specifically those who identify as Latina or BIPOC
- Warhorse Ranch: Expanding therapeutic prop inventory to support their growing equine-assisted mental health programs.
- Bit of Sunshine: Providing Christmas gifts to at risk youths and their caregivers.
- True North Incorporated: Supporting individuals with disabilities throughout Routt County.
- Steamboat Symphony Orchestra: Requested support for their Strings Sprout Program which is a free five year violin education program providing students in grades 1-5 with both instruction and instrument rental at no cost.
- Northwest Colorado Center for Independence: Funding will be used to support youth and young adults who have disabilities as they prepare for and experience transition into adulthood.
“Our Team at Steamboat Sotheby’s International Realty is grateful to be able to help support some great causes and organizations in our community with this fund,” says Barkley Robinson, Community Fund Chair and Broker Associate. “We put a lot of thought into how we award the grants each cycle.”
